We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will primarily focus on handling Verification of Employment tasks for truck drivers, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all processes. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to candidates across the United States, except for those residing in Missouri.
Job Responsibility:
Process Verification of Employment requests efficiently and accurately for truck drivers
Maintain and update HR records and systems to ensure data consistency
Communicate professionally with employees and external stakeholders to gather and validate required information
Provide administrative support within the HR department, including documentation and record-keeping
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries related to employment verification promptly
Collaborate with team members to streamline HR processes and enhance operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations related to employment verification
Utilize HRIS systems to manage employment records and track updates
Assist with onboarding activities and background checks as needed
Contribute to employee relations initiatives by providing support and resources
Requirements:
Proven experience in processing Verification of Employment tasks within HR
At least one year of experience in customer service roles
Strong administrative skills, including attention to detail and organizational abilities
Familiarity with HRIS and other human resources systems
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of onboarding processes and background checks
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all HR activities
