Langley City has an exciting opportunity available for a Casual Human Resources Assistant. The assignment will begin on April 7, 2026, with full-time hours until approximately July 31, 2026, and the possibility of additional casual hours beyond this date. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the HR Assistant will be responsible for providing the Human Resources Division with a wide range of administrative, clerical and technical support. This position will work closely with the HR team to assist in a broad range of functions including employment services, recruitment and selection, health and safety, training and development and labour relations. This is an ideal position for a candidate with a passion for HR, customer service, innovation, and strong technical competency including HR software, Microsoft Word and Excel. Job Responsibility:
Providing the Human Resources Division with a wide range of administrative, clerical and technical support
Assisting in a broad range of functions including employment services, recruitment and selection, health and safety, training and development and labour relations
Requirements:
Minimum of grade 12 supplemented by courses in Human Resources Management or a Certificate / Diploma in Human Resources Management
Experience in Human Resources or office administration is an asset
A valid class 5 full privilege BC Driver’s License is required
