Job Description

We are looking for an organized Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations and provide reliable coordination for the broader people team in Wasco, California. This position will partner closely with HR leadership and the HR Generalist group to keep employee-related processes moving efficiently, respond to follow-up needs, and help maintain consistent policy administration. The ideal candidate brings prior HR experience, communicates effectively in both English and Spanish, and is comfortable handling sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the HR Manager with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks across multiple human resources activities
  • Coordinate timely follow-up on employee matters, documentation requests, and pending HR action items to help ensure completion
  • Work collaboratively with HR Generalists to assist with employee support, records management, and routine HR processes
  • Help interpret and apply company policies by providing accurate administrative support and escalating questions when needed
  • Assist with employee relations matters by organizing information, tracking case details, and supporting investigation-related documentation
  • Maintain HR files and reports with a high level of accuracy while handling confidential information appropriately
  • Communicate with employees in Spanish and English as needed to support understanding and timely resolution of HR-related inquiries

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a human resources support or HR assistant role
  • Working knowledge of company policy administration and general HR practices
  • Experience assisting with employee relations investigations and related documentation
  • Ability to communicate professionally in Spanish and English
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage follow-ups and shifting priorities
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information
  • HR certification is preferred
