We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily administrative and operational HR activities in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable managing documentation, and able to improve processes through clear procedures and consistent follow-through. The role will contribute to contract oversight, records accuracy, policy review, and office organization while partnering with the broader team on additional administrative needs.
Job Responsibility
Maintain organized tracking of vendor agreements and contracts, ensuring records are current, accessible, and properly documented
Manage HR and administrative files with a strong focus on accuracy, completeness, and efficient retrieval of information
Develop and refine standard operating procedures to support consistent workflows and clear internal guidance
Assist with reviewing policies and related documents to confirm alignment, clarity, and proper recordkeeping
Improve office organization by coordinating cleanup efforts, arranging materials, and maintaining orderly shared spaces
Conduct audits of physical and electronic files to identify gaps, correct inconsistencies, and support compliance standards
Provide project coordination support for HR administrative initiatives and operational tasks as needed
Perform additional assigned duties that support the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations
Requirements
Experience supporting HR administration in a detail-focused office environment
Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and the ability to maintain accurate employee or organizational records
Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Excellent organizational skills and close attention to detail when handling files, contracts, and documentation
Ability to write clear process documentation, including standard operating procedures and administrative guidelines
Comfortable reviewing records and policies to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement
Proficiency with common office software and digital file management tools
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders
