Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a 3+ month contract basis. Based in Bothell, Washington, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support key HR functions and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting and bring expertise in HR processes, administrative support, and customer service.

Job Responsibility

  • Support HR functions such as onboarding, recruiting, and employee background checks to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Maintain and update data in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate and manage schedules for interviews, meetings, and other HR-related events
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing reports, managing documentation, and handling correspondence
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and candidates by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns
  • Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws
  • Organize and maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and securely stored
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating communication with candidates

Requirements

  • Previous experience in human resources, administrative assistance, or a related field
  • Proficiency in using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to manage employee data
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees and candidates
  • Knowledge of onboarding and recruiting processes
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice to have

Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices is a plus
