We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations in Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone with experience handling employee records, onboarding coordination, and administrative support within a fast-paced environment. The role will work closely with HR team members to help maintain accurate information, assist with employee-related processes, and provide responsive support across core HR functions.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate onboarding activities, including onboarding schedules, documentation collection, and pre-employment follow-up to support a smooth start for employees
Maintain and update HR records and information systems with a high level of accuracy while ensuring data is organized and current
Assist with employment screening processing and track onboarding documentation to help keep employment files complete and compliant
Provide administrative support to the HR team through calendar coordination, document preparation, reporting, and general office assistance
Respond to routine employee questions related to HR processes, policies, and records, escalating more complex matters when needed
Support employee relations activities by helping prepare materials, track action items, and maintain confidential documentation
Use Microsoft Office tools to create reports, manage spreadsheets, and prepare correspondence for HR-related activities
Contribute to HRIS and onboarding-related process tasks, including system data entry and other administrative updates as assigned
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in human resources support, HR administration, or a closely related office environment
Practical experience with HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data within internal systems
Familiarity with onboarding coordination, background screening processes, and employment documentation handling
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and maintain strong attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related administrative tools
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Experience providing administrative assistance in an office setting that requires strong attention to detail and supporting cross-functional teams
