The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and day‑to‑day HR functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation sessions, and completion of required employment documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS and personnel files
Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
Assist with payroll preparation by tracking time, attendance, and employee status changes
Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
Support training and development initiatives, including logistics and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and confidentiality standards
Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
1+ year of experience in an HR, administrative, or office support role
Knowledge of basic HR processes, employment laws, and HR best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
HRIS experience a plus
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
