Job Responsibility:
Provide administrative support to the HR team across various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance
Coordinate and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, including scheduling interviews and managing job postings
Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and payroll set-up is accurate
Maintain employee records in the HRIS system and ensure compliance with data privacy policies
Support benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and employee inquiries
Assist with employee engagement initiatives such as training programs, wellness activities, and recognition events
Prepare reports and presentations related to HR metrics, policies, and projects
Provide guidance to employees on basic HR-related queries and escalate complex issues as needed
Stay up to date with federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliance across HR practices
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in an administrative or human resources role
experience in the biotech, healthcare, or pharma industries is a plus
Knowledge of basic HR functions and procedures (e.g., employment laws, recruitment, and benefits)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday or SAP is preferred
High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Nice to have:
