Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Assistant to support the daily functions of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of HR tasks including recruitment, onboarding, employee record management, benefits administration, and general administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of HR.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • Prepare new hire paperwork, coordinate onboarding processes, and ensure a smooth orientation experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digital and physical
  • Support benefits enrollment and respond to employee questions about benefits and company policies
  • Help organize and coordinate HR projects (e.g., employee engagement, performance reviews, training sessions)
  • Monitor compliance with labor regulations and internal policies
  • Draft HR documents, memos, and reports as needed
  • Assist with timekeeping and attendance tracking, and report discrepancies
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with special projects as required

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred
  • Knowledge of basic HR functions and labor laws is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, Workday)
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Bilingual skills are a plus (e.g., English/Spanish)
