We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Mountain View, California, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to various HR functions while growing your career in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and payroll processes.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update accurate employee records within the organization's systems
Prepare and process essential employment documentation, such as offer letters, contracts, and verification forms
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including background checks and system setups
Monitor probation periods, visa statuses, and contract renewals to ensure timely follow-ups
Assist in preparing payroll data and ensure its accurate submission for timely processing
Support benefits enrollment and address employee inquiries regarding insurance and leave policies
Manage leave records and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations
Ensure all HR documentation aligns with labor laws and internal standards
Assist in generating HR reports, including metrics such as headcount, turnover, and leave usage
Coordinate training programs, employee orientation sessions, and internal communications initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
0–2 years of experience in HR, administrative, or operational roles
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
Basic knowledge of HR processes and employment compliance standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
