We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Ontario, California. In this Contract to permanent role, you will support various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits inquiries, and administrative tasks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment while enhancing your HR expertise.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct investigations into basic HR issues and employee concerns
Resolve time and attendance discrepancies effectively and efficiently
Address straightforward benefits-related inquiries and provide accurate information
Communicate updates to company policies clearly and professionally
Assist employees with completing HR forms, offering guidance in Spanish when required
Perform data entry and administrative tasks in a paperless, computer-based environment
Coordinate office visits and organize team lunches and events
Support the safety manager in managing incidents and promoting workplace safety
Help facilitate employee leave processes and ensure compliance with regulations
Utilize software tools, including Microsoft Office and Oracle-based payroll systems, to complete HR tasks
Requirements:
Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
Experience in Human Resources administration, including employee relations and benefits
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
