Robert Half is partnering with a well‑established organization in the Lehigh Valley that is seeking an HR Assistant to support their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, people-focused, and eager to grow within the HR function. The HR Assistant will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding—ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and employees.
Job Responsibility:
Post internal and external job openings across various platforms
Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Conduct phone screens and assist with candidate communication throughout the hiring process
Maintain applicant tracking updates and ensure accurate documentation
Prepare and send new hire paperwork and offer letters
Coordinate pre-employment requirements, background checks, and clearances
Conduct first‑day orientations and ensure new hires have the resources they need
Assist with setting up employee profiles in HR systems
Process termination paperwork and exit documentation
Schedule exit interviews and assist with final payroll and benefits steps
Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements:
1+ year of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
experience with HRIS systems is a plus
