We are looking for an organized Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations in Los Angeles, California. This Human Resources Assistant position will help maintain employee records, coordinate onboarding documentation, and provide administrative assistance across a range of personnel activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to keep multiple tasks moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Process check requests and record related expenses accurately within budget tracking processes
Assemble and prepare onboarding packets and personnel folders for incoming employees
Maintain organized filing systems for both new employee and separation documentation
Draft and update employee letters related to transfers, status changes, and other personnel actions
Keep organizational charts current by reflecting staffing updates and reporting changes
Gather, review, and upload required compliance documents to ensure records remain complete
Coordinate the distribution of employee recognition items for milestones such as birthdays and work anniversaries
Requirements
Experience supporting administrative tasks within a human resources environment
Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and electronic employee record management
Familiarity with onboarding processes, including document preparation and file organization
Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and tracking
Effective written communication skills for preparing routine HR letters and correspondence
Understanding of employee relations support activities and coordination of candidate screening processes
