Our recruiting team is working with a forward-thinking company in North County San Diego that is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support talent initiatives and employee-focused programs within their HR department. This role will work closely with HR leadership and recruiting teams to support a variety of important HR functions including recruitment coordination, onboarding support, employee documentation, and internal communication. The HR Assistant will help ensure that HR operations remain organized and that employees receive the support they need throughout their time with the organization. In addition to administrative responsibilities, this role provides valuable exposure to the broader HR function and offers an opportunity to gain experience with recruitment coordination, employee engagement initiatives, and HR program implementation. Candidates who enjoy working in collaborative environments and who are interested in learning more about the strategic side of HR will find this position particularly rewarding.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate interview scheduling and recruitment support activities
Assist with new hire onboarding processes and documentation
Maintain employee records and HR databases
Support HR projects and employee engagement initiatives
Prepare internal communications and HR documentation
Track HR data and assist with reporting and metrics
Respond to employee inquiries and support HR team operations
Requirements:
1–3 years of administrative, recruiting, or HR support experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Interest in HR operations, recruiting, or people operations
