We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support a busy HR team during a temporary leave and organizational growth period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational HR experience who enjoys administrative support, working with confidential information, and contributing to a fast-paced environment. This position is fully onsite and ideal for someone who takes direction well, demonstrates initiative, and enjoys staying busy while supporting a variety of HR functions.
Job Responsibility
Provide recruiting support, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
Assist with employee onboarding and new hire orientation activities
Support leave administration processes and documentation
Maintain and organize HR files and records
Assist with HR compliance projects, including I-9 audits
Support safety administration and related documentation
Digitize, scan, and electronically organize personnel and HR documents
Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Requirements
Prior experience in human resources or HR administrative support is required
Working knowledge of onboarding, employee records administration, and recruiting coordination is preferred
Comfort using HRIS platforms and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for document preparation, tracking, and communication
Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail in a fast-paced work setting
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment
Positive, dependable approach to work with the ability to follow direction and stay productive throughout the day
