We’re looking for a hands-on HR Advisor to join our People & Talent team - someone who can manage day-to-day HR operations, provide practical guidance to managers, and support employee relations and compliance across all our venues.
Job Responsibility:
Provide timely advice and support across all HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, current legislation, and awards
Manage policies, procedures, and practices
Ensure compliance with legislation along with best practice
Coordinate with immigration agents on sponsorship applications and visa compliance
Requirements:
Strong generalist background in human resources preferably within a hospitality, retail or fast paced environment
Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, other employment legislation and experience in interpreting Awards, agreements, policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to guide, coach and influence management and crew to ensure the achievement of HR and business objectives
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a simplified way
High-level problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proven ability in building effective relationships
Experience using Deputy (or similar time and attendance system)
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
