Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join a team for a contract assignment lasting 8-10 weeks. This role supports day-to-day HR operations by assisting employees, coordinating onboarding tasks, and helping maintain accurate payroll, benefits, and administrative records. The position is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Support payroll and benefits administration by helping maintain accurate records and assisting with routine processing activities
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to time-off requests, HR system access, and general administrative questions in a timely manner
  • Assist with open enrollment activities by preparing materials, answering basic benefits questions, and tracking completed documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding tasks for new hires, including paperwork collection, pre-employment screening support, and communication of next steps
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets used for HR reporting, employee tracking, and administrative follow-up
  • Review, organize, and process invoices while ensuring information is complete and properly documented
  • Prepare and manage HR forms, correspondence, and other employee-related documentation with attention to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Use HR and office software tools to support daily operations, including preferred platforms such as iSolve, Zywave, and Microsoft Office

Requirements

  • Prior experience in human resources administration, benefits support, payroll coordination, or a closely related administrative role
  • Working knowledge of employee onboarding processes, background checks, and HR documentation practices
  • Ability to handle employee questions professionally while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits functions

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage invoices, forms, and multiple administrative tasks efficiently
