We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. This contract-to-permanent role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and compliance of our HR operations in a growing organization.
Job Responsibility:
Administer payroll processes for approximately 150 employees, ensuring accurate and timely completion in accordance with company policies and regulations
Oversee the implementation, enforcement, and continuous updating of company policies as outlined in the employee handbook
Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date employee records, including attendance, vacation requests, and personnel files
Manage the HR filing system and documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and internal requirements
Coordinate, maintain, and regularly update the company calendar to include important dates, events, and action items
Conduct background checks and process legal forms with strict attention to confidentiality and accuracy
Support benefits administration, particularly as related to payroll and employee enrollment
Ensure all legal correspondence and HR activities comply with current employment laws and company policies
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and promote effective employee relations
Occasionally travel to support HR initiatives, with all expenses covered by the company
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources administration, including payroll and benefits
Proficiency in managing legal forms and correspondence with attention to detail
Familiarity with conducting background checks and ensuring compliance with employment regulations
Strong organizational skills for record-keeping and documentation
Ability to work with Paychex or similar payroll systems
Knowledge of benefit functions and administration processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes
