The full time position for Human Resource Manager will have 2 direct reports. The manufacturing facility has 600 plus employees. This position will work with department leaders to assist with employee relations, create trainings for staff, will conduct investigations, and build out a robust internship and apprenticeship program. Job Responsibility:
Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Collaborate with department leaders to address employee relations and resolve workplace concerns
Design and deliver training programs that support staff development and compliance
Conduct thorough investigations to address employee issues effectively and fairly
Develop and manage internship and apprenticeship programs to enhance talent pipelines
Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage relationships to ensure cost-effective partnerships
Oversee HR systems and processes, including onboarding and employee benefits administration
Support labor relations initiatives and foster a positive work environment
Prepare and manage the annual HR budget to align with organizational priorities
Drive continuous improvement across HR functions to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational performance
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Strong expertise in employee relations, labor relations, and HR administration
Proven ability to manage HRIS systems and streamline HR processes
Experience in designing and conducting effective training sessions for staff
Skilled in negotiating and managing vendor contracts to optimize resources
Familiarity with onboarding processes and benefits administration
Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage annual budgets
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on empowering employees
