We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee key people operations for our organization in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. This role will guide recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, leave administration, and records management while ensuring HR practices remain compliant and well organized. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, confidence working with unionized employees, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Job Responsibility
Direct day-to-day human resources activities, ensuring efficient support across hiring, employee services, compliance, and documentation
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, from identifying staffing needs through onboarding and orientation for new employees
Administer compensation, benefits, leave programs, and workers’ compensation processes with accuracy and consistency
Review, process, and maintain personnel records, including performance documents, accommodation requests, grievances, and leave-related paperwork
Serve as a resource for employee and labor relations matters, helping address workplace concerns and support contract-aligned practices
Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures to promote fair, consistent, and compliant employment practices
Maintain organized record retention systems and safeguard confidential employee information
Partner with leadership to resolve workplace issues using sound judgment, strong communication, and effective conflict resolution skills
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
HR certification required, such as SHRM-CP or PHR
At least five years of experience in human resources management
Demonstrated experience supporting unionized workforces and handling labor-related matters
Ability to obtain and provide required background clearances at the start of employment, including Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and fingerprint-based background screening
Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation, or the ability to travel between multiple work sites
Strong working knowledge of HR administration, policy interpretation, recruiting, employee records, and leave management
