Job Description:

The position focuses on maintaining relationships, managing employee effectiveness, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, coaching and recruiting staff, resolving employee dissatisfaction, preparing budgets, and representing the organization during hearings or mediations.

Job Responsibility:

Maintains relationships by developing an understanding of strategies and business operations
Increases employee effectiveness by communicating job expectations
Coaches, counsels and disciplines employees
Plans, monitors and appraises job results
Provides educational opportunities
Maximizes diversity by identifying issues and providing training
Responds to employment-related actions by conducting investigations
Resolves manager and employee dissatisfaction by offering advice and guidance
Ensures compliance with policies, governmental laws, and regulations
Represents the organization by clarifying and verifying documentation
Achieves financial objectives by preparing budgets and analyzing variances
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and orienting employees.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Other combinations of job-related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted
Three years of experience or more preferred
including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
