This position’s primary purpose is to partner with the local functional and operational leaders to deliver generalist HR support in line with the strategic objectives of the Celeros FT HR team. Acts as the ‘customer-facing’ business partner to the leadership team and employee population. Support designated management population to improve capability and facilitate the delivery of the end-to-end employee cycle.
Job Responsibility:
Provide support and guidance to managers and an escalation point for employees with regards to administering/implementing HR policies and procedures within the Americas region
Participate and contribute in regular team/HR meetings to review current processes and actively participate in continuous improvement for the HR function
Prepare, schedule, and facilitate smooth new hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments
Oversee site administration for car passes, badges, uniforms, business cards, etc
Maintain and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding and exiting processes
Prepare reports and analysis according to the needs of the HR function for the assigned region
Assist payroll with bi-weekly payroll processing and submittals, hourly employee validations, and time clock monitoring
Support Managers to effectively lead, motivate and engage their teams
Analyze Employee Engagement trends per annual survey and support facilitation of improvements with management population
Lead the Employee Engagement team with site/function
Coordinator site employee events and engagement activities
Advise and assist managers in preparing disciplinary documentation, performance improvement action plans, and employee relations responses
Work with HR Manager in relation to termination documentation preparation, employee and manager counselling, and managing third-party providers
Support the planning and delivery of the end of year performance and reward cycles
Administer and communicate changes to employee benefit programs to all employees
Ensures working policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
Collaborate with management to support the HR needs and proactively identify areas to enhance the organization
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
Work on or lead HR projects to optimize the HR proposition and service delivery
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
2-3 years of human resource experience
Knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
Strong understanding of Human Resource concepts, practices and procedures
Proficient in all MS products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
