The Human Resource Generalist will be stepping in to HR to handle on boarding of all new hires and PRN staff. The position will also cover all HR compliance, employee relations, investigations, FMLA, workman's comp, disability, unemployment claims, etc...This position is onsite day to day and will be an important part of the continued growth of the organization. There are 29 locations in 2 states.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues effectively
Conduct investigations and handle sensitive matters such as disability claims, unemployment claims, and workman's compensation
Monitor and enforce HR compliance policies to align with industry standards and legal requirements
Maintain and audit HR systems, including HRIS and ADP Enterprise, for accurate record-keeping and reporting
Administer employee benefits programs and address inquiries related to benefits and payroll
Support organizational growth by providing HR expertise across multiple locations and states
Collaborate with leadership to implement strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and retention
Deliver exceptional customer service to employees and management, fostering a positive work environment
Ensure all HR practices are aligned with the company's objectives and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
At least 7 years of experience in human resources or related roles
Strong knowledge of HR compliance and regulations, including auditing practices
Proficiency in HRIS systems and ADP Enterprise software
Demonstrated ability to manage onboarding processes and employee benefits
Exceptional interpersonal skills for handling employee relations and workplace investigations
Familiarity with workman's compensation, disability claims, and unemployment claims
Proven ability to support HR functions across multiple locations and states
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle diverse HR challenges
