Human Resources - or as we think of it, the "people end" of the supermarket. If you share this way of thinking, read on – we might have the role for you. Developing and maintaining strong staff relationships along with open communication across our large team is a key focus of this position. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our standards are met and our team have the grounding they need to succeed in their roles. This role comprises of general HR duties including: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, training and assisting with our compliance programmes. You will need to be comfortable managing your own workload and adjusting priorities as the day progresses. We can assure you - the day is full, but never dull. Effective communication is the heart of our approach. We value honesty, integrity, the ability to self-manage and the genuine desire to do things "right first time". Not an expert? That’s ok. We can show you the ropes and you’ll have great support along the way. Previous experience with people management is essential, along with an understanding of end-to-end employment processes. Experience supporting and working alongside teams in an FMCG-style environment would also be beneficial. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). You can choose the days, with some flexibility required to conduct interviews and training outside of your usual hours from time to time.
