This role will focus on day-to-day human resources support, including employee relations, manager guidance, compliance oversight, and serving as the primary onsite resource for employee needs. This is a hands-on position suited for a strong HR professional who can work independently, exercise sound judgment, and support daily operations effectively.
Job Responsibility
Manage day-to-day employee relations matters and provide guidance on workplace issues
Support managers with coaching, HR guidance, and resolution of employee concerns
Oversee compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment practices
Serve as the onsite point person for employee questions, concerns, and support needs
Partner with leadership to maintain a positive and professional work environment
Handle sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
Ensure continuity of People & Culture support in a fast-paced hotel setting
Provide practical, responsive HR support with minimal supervision
Requirements
Experience in Human Resources, People & Culture, or Employee Relations
Strong background in employee relations, manager support, and compliance
Prior hospitality experience required, preferably within a hotel environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable in a visible, onsite role supporting both employees and managers
Able to adapt quickly and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
At least 2 years of experience in human resources, employee relations, or a related HR support role
Prior experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or a comparable service-focused environment is strongly preferred
Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage sensitive situations with good judgment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust across employee and management groups
Working knowledge of core HR practices, including employee relations support and basic compliance standards
Experience with HR administration processes such as onboarding, benefits support, and maintaining personnel documentation
Familiarity with HRIS platforms and comfort learning employer-specific systems, policies, and procedures quickly
