HR Administrator providing general administrative support to the UK Human Resources department across all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Human Resources function, working closely with all members of the team to deliver a high-quality service across the organisation.
Job Responsibility:
Maintaining and updating employee records in HR systems
Monitoring and managing HR inboxes
Providing administrative support throughout recruitment process
Preparing onboarding documentation
Assisting with induction process for new starters
Supporting administration of sickness absence process
Taking notes during meetings
Providing office cover
Creating and distributing staff concessionary travel cards
Offering general administration to support HR & Reward/Payroll function
Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
Requirements:
Previous administrative experience is essential
HR experience is a plus
Excellent IT skills with confidence in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
Experience in taking notes in formal meetings is essential
Valid driving licence is required
Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices is desirable
Respects confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion
Can build good rapport with line managers and employees
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and eye for detail
Can work autonomously and prioritise effectively
Enjoys being productive in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment
