We are seeking a detail-oriented and critical thinking Human Factors Intern to join our innovative team in Chicago, IL. As a Human Factors Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies to real-world projects, while learning tangible skills from the experienced Human Factors professionals on the team. Some domestic travel (approximately 20%) will be required for supporting usability study activities.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in planning and conducting usability studies
Analyze and interpret data collected from usability studies
Support the creation of research reports and presentations
Contribute to the development of user interface designs and prototypes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate human factors principles into product development processes
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Currently a Junior or Senior (graduating 2027 or 2028)
Strong knowledge of human factors principles and methodologies
Familiarity with user-centered design processes and basic understanding of ergonomics
Excellent research and problem-solving skills
Strong technical writing and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Interest in human factors and product design for drug delivery/combination products

Relevant coursework or project experience is preferred
