Job Description:

We are seeking a Principal Engineer – Human Factors to support the design of safe, effective and user-focused products across our major boat programmes and site-based projects. You will ensure human performance is optimised and the risk of human error is minimised throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

Provide Human Factors input to design and analysis activities
Undertake task, workload, situational awareness and reliability assessments
Conduct workspace and Human Machine Interface analysis
Support health hazard assessments and safety justifications
Produce Human Factors reports and represent the discipline at technical reviews
Work closely with engineers and project teams across programmes

Requirements:

Experience as a Human Factors practitioner
Degree (or equivalent) in a Human Factors related discipline (preferred)
Ability to achieve relevant Professional Institution membership
