Job Description:

The HSE Director serves as the primary health, safety, and environmental leader for a major JLL account, spearheading safety culture initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing environmental stewardship across multiple operational facilities. This strategic position blends tactical safety management with comprehensive program development, requiring you to establish and sustain robust HSE frameworks while acting as the primary communication bridge between site operations and account leadership on all health, safety, and environmental issues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining HSE documentation and regulatory compliance registers
  • Conducting hazard and PPE assessments across account locations
  • Managing incident reporting through OSHA recordkeeping and JLL's AIMS system
  • Developing and delivering HSE training programs
  • Investigating safety events and analyzing root causes
  • Communicating results to Account Leadership Teams
  • Supporting environmental compliance per Master Service Agreements
  • Traveling periodically to operational sites for investigations and meetings

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field (may be waived with 15+ years experience or professional HSE certification)
  • 10+ years of HSE experience with proven success record
  • Strong project management skills for coordinating multi-site activities
  • Broad knowledge of Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven experience delivering presentations and effective training programs
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities

Nice to have:

  • Professional HSE certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar)
  • Experience in facilities management or corporate real estate environments
  • Background with OSHA compliance and incident management systems
  • Experience developing and implementing safety culture programs
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance within service agreement frameworks
