Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled HSS and DSR Engineer to join our team and manage the core components and signaling network of our 4G LTE infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications, deep expertise in 4G technology, and hands-on experience with both Home Subscriber Server (HSS) and Diameter Signaling Router (DSR).

Job Responsibility:

  • Deployment and Management: Deploy, configure, and manage HSS and DSR infrastructures within the 4G LTE network to ensure efficient and reliable operation
  • System Integration: Work closely with other network components such as MME, SGW, PGW, and PCRF to ensure seamless integration and functionality of HSS and DSR
  • Database Management: Maintain and manage the subscriber database, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient access
  • Network Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of HSS and DSR to enhance network reliability and performance
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to HSS, DSR, and overall subscriber management and signaling traffic
  • Interoperability: Ensure interoperability with other network elements and external networks
  • Security: Implement and manage security protocols to protect subscriber data and signaling traffic from unauthorized access and attacks
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures for HSS and DSR
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including RAN engineers, core network engineers, and IT to ensure cohesive network operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with HSS and DSR in a 4G LTE environment
  • Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards and protocols related to HSS, DSR, and 4G technologies
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management for HSS
  • In-depth knowledge of Diameter protocols and signaling flows within a 4G LTE network

Nice to have:

  • Experience with virtualized HSS and DSR solutions
  • Knowledge of 5G core network components, signaling protocols, and architecture
  • Experience with integration to 5G UDM
