Job Description:

MJ Quinn is currently seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on our Telecoms Service Delivery Contract. This role is field based with frequent travel involved covering Scotland and surroundings areas

Job Responsibility:

  • Promote HSQE standards across all MJ Quinn divisions
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
  • Prepare and review safety documentation (e.g., risk assessments, method statements)
  • Investigate incidents and produce reports with corrective actions
  • Support tender and pre-qualification documentation
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and accreditation bodies
  • Monitor compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO45001, ISO14001)
  • Maintain HSQE records and compile safety files and O&M manuals
  • To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Raising and following up on non-conformance reports
  • Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a HSQE Advisor role (Essential)
  • Previous experience in Critical Infrastructure & Energy
  • NEBOSH General Certificate./ IOSH (desirable)
  • ISO45001 knowledge (essential)
  • ISO9001/14001 (desirable)
  • First Aid certification (desirable)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
