A professional with experience in the oil and gas industry, to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards in all operations. This role is crucial for maintaining a strong safety culture and supporting offshore and onshore projects in alignment with international standards and local regulations.
Job Responsibility:
Implement and maintain HSEQ management systems in compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and client-specific requirements
Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections for offshore and onshore operations
Monitor and report HSEQ performance indicators, including incident reports, near misses, and corrective actions
Develop and deliver HSEQ training programs for employees and contractors, focusing on oil and gas operational risks
Ensure compliance with Suriname’s environmental and safety regulations and manage waste disposal processes responsibly
Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and recommendations
Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams on HSEQ matters
Support emergency response planning and drills for offshore and onshore facilities
Maintain accurate documentation for audits, certifications, and client reporting
Requirements:
Experience in HSEQ in oil and gas operations (offshore and onshore)
Solid knowledge of international HSEQ standards and Suriname regulatory requirements
Familiarity with work permit systems, confined space entry (CSE), and classified area safety
Certification in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is highly desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSEQ reporting tools
