Job Description:

Airswift is seeking an HSE Lead with working-at-heights experience to serve as the Owner's Representative on a major onshore wind construction project in Fort Stockton, Texas. This is a site-based role responsible for leading health, safety, environment, and security governance across all construction activities, with a strong focus on working at heights.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as Owner's Representative for all HSE activities during wind project construction
  • Enforce the company's standards, site HSE plans, and contractual requirements
  • Lead HSE oversight for turbine erection, crane operations, electrical work, and BOP activities
  • Perform routine site inspections, including work at height in towers and nacelles
  • Review and approve permits, JHAs, lift plans, rescue plans, and method statements
  • Oversee fall protection systems and working at heights programs
  • Lead incident and near miss investigations and track corrective actions
  • Monitor HSE KPIs and provide reporting to project leadership
  • Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness drills

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of HSE experience in onshore wind construction
  • Previous experience climbing wind turbine towers required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and U.S. construction safety standards
  • Proven experience supporting EPCs and subcontractors
  • OSHA 30 (Construction) required
  • Ability to work full time on an active outdoor construction site and climb up to ~300 feet
  • U.S. work authorization
