Job Description:

HSE Engineer position in the Construction team for the Chirpan project in Bulgaria, responsible for health, safety, and environmental documentation, inspections, and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain and monitor project specific HSS documentation
Liaise with Managers regarding environmental and H&S issues
Prepare H&S weekly and monthly site reports
Perform inspections on construction site at least once per week
Collect HSSE documentation from Subcontractors
Provide and inspect PPE and waste management equipment
Lead accident and incident investigations
Ensure training needs are identified, delivered, and monitored
Promote and maintain zero-accident policy
Ensure adequate welfare facilities on site
Report defects and liaise with suppliers
Direct Head of Site Manager with local H&S legislations

Requirements:

Certificate for Construction site Coordinator
Able to work in a cold/hot environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
1-3 years proven HSE experience in related field
Knowledge of Bulgaria HSE Legislation is mandatory
Fluent English and Bulgarian
Flexibility to relocate to the project site

Nice to have:

Experience in energy projects
University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
