Job Description:

Select Offshore is recruiting multiple HSE Coordinators to support the offshore commissioning phase of a major wind energy project. Working on a rotational basis offshore, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant working environment across commissioning activities by enforcing the client’s HSE procedures and ensuring alignment with local legislative standards. You will play an integral role in fostering a proactive safety culture, conducting on-site inspections, supporting incident response, and contributing to continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement and enforce the client’s HSE policies and procedures offshore
  • Monitor day-to-day compliance with safety protocols and legal requirements
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, risk assessments, and audits
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and contribute to root cause analysis
  • Support subcontractors and technicians in adopting safe work practices
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to project HSE reporting
  • Actively promote a safety-first and collaborative site culture
  • Ensure personal certification and training are maintained to Vestas standards

Requirements:

  • Offshore HSE experience on wind, marine, or energy projects
  • Valid and recognised HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent)
  • Offshore survival and medical certifications
  • Strong understanding of offshore HSE regulations and best practices
  • Ability to lead by example and positively influence safety behaviours
  • Must be certified and trained in compliance with Vestas requirements (or willing to obtain)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
