Exciting opportunity for a HSE professional to join Service Stream's HSE Team, supporting our company to meet its Safety, Environment, and client obligations. Based in Adelaide.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing support to project teams to ensure our company meets its Safety, Environment, Quality and client obligations
  • Coaching and advising management and workers on meeting their work health and safety duties
  • Supporting management and workers in the implementation of policies, systems, programs and initiatives and meeting local legislative requirements
  • Promoting a safe and positive work culture and role model safety leadership principles
  • Support management in Return to Work Rehabilitation processes
  • Assist business management in continually improving the company's risk management capabilities
  • Field based activities verifying the effectiveness of HSE documentation, and critical controls

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in an HSE role with a strong quality background, highly regarded
  • Working knowledge of Legislation, Standards and Codes and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and AS 4801 standards
  • Prior experience managing Safety and Environment requirements on major engineering or construction projects, with a strong track record in working effectively with project contractors is highly regarded
  • Experience in auditing, investigation and environmental/quality reporting
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Power, gas, water, heavy industry or other utilities industry experience desirable
  • Relevant qualification in WHS/OH&S, Quality and / or Environment or Engineering/Science
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
