Job Responsibility

  • Understand and communicate Primero HSE procedures and legislative requirements on site in accordance with the project specific HSE Management Plans
  • Undertaking daily HSE inspections and observations on site
  • Play an active role in the delivery of HSE topics in the weekly toolbox and daily prestart sessions
  • Assisting with fitness for work requirements and daily welfare checks
  • Coach and guide HSR’s in their legislative HSE requirements
  • Provide support guidance to employees in the creation of risk assessments (JHA’s, Permits)
  • Maintaining HSE notice boards

Requirements

  • Possess a Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety (Minimum requirement)
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years' experience within the construction industry
  • Demonstrated site experience in a similar role
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid / CPR certificate
  • Experienced with Incident Investigation Training (ICAM/Tap Root)
  • Have a OHS Construction Induction White / Blue Card
  • Demonstrate the Right to Work in Australia
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
