As an HSE Advisor / Project Manager within the Bombardier Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Center of Excellence, you will play a key role in developing, deploying, and sustaining global HSE initiatives across all Bombardier sites. You will act as a subject matter expert providing leadership, technical guidance, and project management support to enhance our HSE culture, continuously improve our management systems, and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, develop, and deploy HSE programs and strategic initiatives across all Bombardier sites
  • Develop and maintain standardized HSE standards and best practices to ensure global alignment
  • Provide technical expertise and support in the ongoing development and enhancement of the Bombardier HSE Management System
  • Support and maintain requirements related to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification
  • Create and standardize HSE training content applicable to all sites
  • Provide expertise in risk management and risk-reduction strategies, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation planning
  • Act as an HSE subject matter expert to guide business units in managing operational risks and strengthening HSE performance
  • Offer coaching, technical interpretation, and support to HSE teams and operational leaders
  • Support the evolution, optimization, and integration of Bombardier’s HSE Management System to our HSE Information Management System (Enablon)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system requirements & adoption
  • Participate in the optimization and continual improvement of the Bombardier HSE Audit Program
  • Conduct compliance and performance trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement across sites
  • Support investigations, corrective actions, and the development of long-term preventive solutions
  • Perform HSE-Management System Audits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
  • Professional certifications such as CRSP, CSP, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent considered an asset
  • 10+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in a manufacturing, aerospace, or high-risk industrial environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing or leading HSE projects at the corporate or multi-site level
  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
  • Proficiency using HSE information systems
  • experience with Enablon is a strong asset
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in data-driven decision-making
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and coaching abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a corporate environment
