Job Description

As an HSE Advisor, you support our global logistics processes and contribute to a strong safety culture. You work closely with international teams, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with relevant standards in worldwide transport and shipping operations. Your HSE expertise strengthens the performance of our logistics organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Take responsibility for all HSE aspects of end‑to‑end logistics operations
  • Support managers in building a positive HSE culture in line with the Behaviour‑Based‑Safety program
  • Ensure contractual integration and evaluation of HSE requirements for logistics service providers
  • Coordinate with Country HSE teams and develop proactive monitoring of contractor performance
  • Conduct audits and support investigations of HSE incidents and Life‑Saving‑Rules breaches
  • Engage with customers and authorities on logistics‑related HSE topics and prepare relevant reports
  • Represent the logistics function in corporate HSE committees and external industry working groups

Requirements

  • Completed qualification in Health and Safety, Environment or a technical field, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of HSE experience in an ISO‑certified environment with logistics involvement
  • Experience as Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor and strong knowledge of ADR and similar regulations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Very good English skills and a structured, organized approach even under time pressure

  • Assist with contractor management, including permits to work, safe isolation procedures, and CDM compliance
  • Carry out audits, inspections, and SHE observations, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal standards
  • Support environmental compliance including waste management, emissions control, and energy usage monitoring
  • Monitor workplace transport activities including HGVs, FLTs, and telehandlers, ensuring safe practices
  • Deliver toolbox talks and staff safety briefings to reinforce safety culture

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of utilities safety, site services, and operational controls
