This role will be onsite working in a hybrid work format, with a requirement to be in the corporate office in Lexington, KY. This is a 12 week on-site internship from May-August and will need to sit in Lexington, KY.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Valvoline’s Corporate HS Team through program and related tools development and implementation (LOTO equipment specific procedures, Ergonomic assessments, HS internal audit protocol management and online safety management systems)
  • Contribute to HS dashboards and performance reports used to track corporate program progress
  • Support key projects and initiatives in Health and Safety
  • Help support site compliance by updating HS programs, procedures, trainings, and tools
  • Engage employees in programs that promote Valvoline’s culture of HS continuous improvements
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support ongoing HS compliance initiatives

Requirements:

  • In your collegiate sophomore year or higher pursuing a degree in the Health and Safety field (Health Science, Occupational Safety and Health, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HS regulations
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop training and communications
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • May require up to 15% travel within the United States
