This role will be responsible for the effective implementation of the Health, Safety & Environment Management System in accordance with the company’s strategic objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Defining & implementing the HS&E policy & procedures to maintain ISO accreditation
  • Supporting relationships & programs with customers, partners & stakeholders in matters concerning HS&E
  • Devising effective change management & internal auditing processes
  • Lead accident/incident investigations and define appropriate performance metrics
  • Oversee and manage waste streams, emissions and energy use
  • Fostering a self-managing HS&E workplace culture with clear roles and responsibilities

Requirements:

  • IOSH Managing Safely (willingness to work towards NEBOSH General Certificate)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Familiar with incident investigation processes and root cause analysis
  • Working knowledge of UK H&S and environmental legislation
  • Clear communicator and confident deliver training when necessary
