The ideal candidate thrives in complex, evolving environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to systems and processes that are still maturing. This is a high-impact role that partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and operational leaders to ensure the HR technology ecosystem effectively supports business growth and workforce needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage day-to-day configuration, business processes, security roles, and system maintenance
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across the HRMS environment
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution across HR, IT, Payroll, and external partners
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Act as the primary SME and escalation point for Workday-related needs
  • Lead post-implementation stabilization efforts including issue resolution, data cleanup, and process consistency
  • Evaluate existing configurations and identify opportunities for simplification and standardization
  • Balance urgent operational needs with long-term system scalability and optimization
  • Establish governance, structure, and prioritization frameworks in a fast-moving environment
  • Support and monitor integrations across payroll, benefits, IT systems, and other business platforms
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate and reliable data flows
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and support API-based system connections
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data movement across downstream systems
  • Develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and system insights to support decision-making
  • Improve visibility into workforce data across the employee lifecycle
  • Support data analysis needs in partnership with HR and business stakeholders
  • Provide training and ongoing support for HR and business users
  • Translate technical system functionality into clear, actionable guidance
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve adoption and user experience
  • Support and mentor junior HRIS/HR team members as applicable

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting HRIS/HRMS platforms, with strong Workday expertise
  • Deep experience in Core HCM and business process configuration
  • Strong understanding of security administration, role-based access, and system governance
  • Experience supporting integrations across HR, payroll, and related systems
  • Proven ability to operate in complex, high-growth, or multi-entity environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in fast-paced settings

Nice to have

  • Exposure across multiple Workday modules (Talent, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, etc.)
  • Experience supporting field-based or distributed workforces
  • Experience working with complex workforce populations, including unionized environments and multiple collective bargaining agreements
  • Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, or analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL)
  • Experience in highly integrated HR technology ecosystems

What we offer

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • Annual profit-sharing contributions (typically 10-12% target, subject to company performance)
  • Comprehensive health benefits with 100% employer-paid medical premiums for employees and families
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid time off and additional employee-focused benefits
