Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented HRIS Data Analyst to join our team in Kingston, Rhode Island. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in bridging the gap between Human Resources and Information Technology, ensuring that HR systems run efficiently and effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical expertise while contributing to data-driven decision-making and system improvements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a key liaison between Human Resources and Information Technology teams to address system-related needs and challenges
  • Analyze and interpret HR data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making processes
  • Perform system configurations, conduct user acceptance testing, and provide technical support to HR and Records teams
  • Utilize tools and techniques to identify variances, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the reliability of HR systems
  • Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of HR system data and processes
  • Collaborate on integration projects and resolve system-related issues effectively
  • Generate statistical reports and analytics to inform business strategies and HR initiatives
  • Provide guidance and training to HR staff and system users for optimal system utilization
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and data security standards in all HR system operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, particularly within HRIS or related systems
  • Strong proficiency in statistical tools and techniques for data interpretation
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and system operations
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and implement effective solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Knowledge of confidentiality standards and best practices in data security
  • Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical teams
