Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HRIS Analyst to support critical HR technology operations in Cleveland, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position will help maintain reliable HR systems, strengthen data quality, and deliver reporting support across key employee-related functions. The role is well suited for someone who is detail oriented and can manage daily system needs while contributing to broader process improvements in a complex enterprise environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily support for HR technology functions related to human resources, payroll, benefits, student employment, and graduate studies
  • Investigate and resolve system issues across enterprise HR platforms, partnering with technical teams and business stakeholders to restore functionality efficiently
  • Coordinate testing activities for software updates, regulatory changes, patches, and platform enhancements to ensure stable performance
  • Administer user access, security roles, approval paths, and organizational structures that affect HR, payroll, and benefits operations
  • Perform data review, validation, reconciliation, and documentation activities to maintain accurate information across multiple HR systems, including Workday-related support
  • Develop recurring and on-demand reports, while assisting with compliance reporting and responses to public records requests
  • Evaluate current workflows, data movement, and system controls to recommend improvements that increase accuracy, efficiency, and consistency
  • Support enterprise HR platform modernization efforts by assisting with system transition tasks, cross-platform coordination, and operational readiness activities

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in HRIS analysis, HR systems support, or a senior-level HR technology role
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise HR platforms such as Oracle PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft HCM, Workday, or similar systems
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data quality, troubleshoot issues, and interpret system behavior
  • Working knowledge of HRIS databases and SQL for reporting, validation, and data investigation
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, patches, or large-scale platform changes
  • Ability to manage security access, reporting needs, and cross-functional coordination in a complex operational setting
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for working with technical teams, business users, and compliance stakeholders
  • Experience in higher education or another regulated environment is preferred
