Hris Analyst

• Lead and support key phases of the Workday HCM rollout, including setup, validation, and go-live readiness activities
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and academic departments to gather needs and help translate operational goals into effective system design decisions
• Evaluate leading practices for Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Absence to align configuration with higher education requirements
• Contribute to data conversion efforts by assisting with data mapping, cleansing, validation, and coordination of integration-related tasks
• Build and carry out testing activities across unit, integration, and user acceptance phases, then investigate and help resolve identified issues
• Prepare clear end-user materials and assist in training efforts to encourage adoption and effective system use
• Provide post-configuration support by diagnosing issues, recommending improvements, and helping optimize system performance
• Partner with the Data Center team to troubleshoot PeopleSoft HR issues when additional support is needed

• Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM, including familiarity with business process frameworks
• Background participating in Workday implementations, preferably within higher education environments
• Ability to convert business and functional needs into practical technical solutions
• Working knowledge of data migration practices, system integrations, and structured testing approaches
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage assignments independently and deliver quality work within established timelines in a contract setting
• Experience with Workday Integration, Workday Payroll, and user acceptance testing
