Job Description:

The Business Systems Analyst – Workday & HRIS is a key member of this team, responsible for supporting and enhancing Workday and related HR systems. You’ll combine strong functional knowledge of HR processes with hands-on technical expertise in configuration, reporting, security, and integrations ensuring our people systems are optimized, compliant, and continuously improving.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as a Workday system expert, supporting configuration, testing, reporting, and troubleshooting across multiple modules (Core HCM, Absence, Advanced Compensation etc.)
  • Lead or contribute to enhancement projects and support larger cross-functional initiatives related to HR technology
  • Manage day-to-day Workday operations including data audits, security administration, and HRIS support tickets management
  • Partner with technical resources to support integrations and inbound data loads with other enterprise systems (e.g., Finance, IT, Recruiting, Learning)
  • Create, update, and maintain Workday documentation with process guides and end-user training materials
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and define scalable solutions
  • Address incoming questions, requests, and issues while maintaining strong communication
  • Support system testing and deployment cycles, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and smooth rollouts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday administration experience including configuration, reporting, calculated fields, and business processes
  • Experience with Workday Absence Management and Security configuration preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes such as employee lifecycle, time off, and organization management
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for analysis, data validation, and reconciliation
  • Experience supporting or integrating other HRIS or People Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Okta, others) is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver quality outcomes, and maintain high accuracy under pressure

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Workday Absence Management and Security configuration preferred
  • Experience supporting or integrating other HRIS or People Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Okta, others) is a plus
