We are seeking experienced and highly skilled HR Waste Management Drivers to join a well-established company in the Brisbane Southside area. If you have a solid background in waste collection and an exceptional knowledge of the Brisbane region, we want to hear from you. The Role This is an ongoing opportunity for dedicated HR Drivers to operate specialist waste collection vehicles. You will be working as part of a supportive team, ensuring the timely collection of commercial and residential waste. Key Details: Location: Brisbane Southside Pay Rate: Highly competitive hourly rate, up to $46.88 per hour Hours: Early morning start, typically around 2:00 a.m. – 2:30 a.m.. Shifts are long, usually 10+ hours per day, offering plenty of hours.

Job Responsibility

  • Operating Front Lift and Rear Lift trucks (often referred to as 'Garbo' or 'Dustbin' trucks)
  • Collecting commercial and residential waste bins across assigned routes in the Brisbane region
  • Operating the hydraulic lift mechanism and performing manual intervention (pushing/pulling of wheelie bins) to position them for loading
  • Maintaining a high degree of safety awareness and good judgment when identifying safe bin pickup locations

Requirements

  • A current and valid HR (Heavy Rigid) licence or above is mandatory
  • Proven previous experience operating Front Lift and Rear Lift waste management trucks is essential
  • A solid understanding of driving in and around Brisbane and the greater surrounds
  • Comfortable with early morning starts and the physical nature of the role, which involves bin maneuvering
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol (D&A) test
  • Valid HR Licence
  • Valid Work Rights
