We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Technician to oversee and manage all human resources activities at our Wudil project location. The successful candidate will serve as the primary HR representative on-site, ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance with company policies, and support to both management and employees.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the focal point for all HR-related matters at the Wudil location
Manage employee records, attendance, and timekeeping systems
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation
Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on company policies
Support disciplinary processes in line with company procedures
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company regulations
Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR databases
Liaise with head office HR team on all HR operations and updates
Support payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits administration
Conduct regular HR visits to work fronts and address employee concerns.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years’ HR experience, preferably in construction or project environments
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage HR functions in a remote/project location
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
High level of integrity and professionalism
Prior experience working in site-based/project environments
Familiarity with timekeeping and workforce management systems
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
