The HR Intern is mainly responsible for the administrative functions within the department. This individual works with the HR Manager to ensure the unit is in compliance with all federal and state regulations as well as the established ARAMARK policies.
Job Responsibility
Maintain personnel, medical, and confidential files for active and terminated employees. Audit for compliance
File I-9 forms and audit for compliance
Knowledge of the hourly employee onboarding process, and ability to execute the process as needed with new hires/ rehires
Make copies of documents for file records
Assist in preparation and disbursement of employee communications
Assist in preparation for HR events and work the events as necessary (job fairs, orientations, wellness fair, employee recognition events, etc.)
Requirements
Must be a current Clemson University student
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
Must be able to sit, walk and stand for extended time periods, up to 6 hours
Position requires repetitive motion
Complete HR projects as needed
Assist in other departments as needed
Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the ARAMARK management team
