We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team on a contract basis onsite in Castleton, Vermont. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting human resources functions, including employee relations and onboarding processes. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, knowledge of HR systems, and experience with compliance in HIPAA-regulated environments.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee onboarding procedures to ensure a seamless integration for new hires
Maintain and update human resources information systems (HRIS) to keep accurate employee records
Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all HR-related activities
Provide administrative support for various human resources functions, including maintaining documentation and processing requests
Collaborate with management to implement HR policies and improve workflows
Monitor and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning
Assist with training initiatives to promote employee development and compliance
Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources administration
Proficiency with HRIS systems for managing employee data
Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and best practices
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for employee relations
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Nice to have:
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
